Teacher Don’t Yell, I Have A Pen That Can Tell

If you understood nothing of the video, worry not! Not everyone speaks, writes or/and understands German, I’m included; but by the end of this article, you will have a brief idea of what this video is about if you haven’t yet known. And NO, although what the man’s holding in his hand appears to be an advanced version of a thermometer, it’s got nothing to do with it.

So imagine this: A student is seated in classroom and his teacher says ‘write pen’ and instead he writes ‘p-i-n’; the teacher peers down at him from over her spectacles and nods  left-to-right to show her sign of disapproval ‘you are wrong and terribly …’

How very intimidating … but what if there was something that could tell you on spot about the error and save you from stares and ridicule? Thanks to Lernstift, a German company, that ‘something’ is here!

‘Lernstift has designed a vibrating pen called the Lernstift Pen. This pen is capable of picking up errors in spelling or letter formation in real-time, delivering a warning vibration to the writer's hand. Users have the option to choose between two functions: Calligraphy Mode – pointing out flaws of form and legibility - or Orthography Mode – detecting orthographic and grammatical mistakes. Sensors built into the pen detect variations in the way letters are formed and buzz immediately if an error is spotted.’

Put in simpler words, if you were using the Lernstift pen and wrote ‘pen’ as ‘p-i-n’, the pen would vibrate to tell you ‘check mate’. Now that sounds pretty cool, huh?! I’m off to read more on this brilliant development: http://www.lernstift.com; http://www.facebook.com/lernstift Fancy that!
